I bought this chair for the height thinking I would need the extra inches as a drafting chair. Im rather short and normal office chairs dont go high enough so that my arms fall at a proper angle on my desk.
At first I put on the extension and it was too tall. The extension piece got stuck. With some WD/40, the extension came off and I was able to put the chair together without the extension.
Excellent height. Perfect size.
