If your remote, like mine, stopped working or doesnt work, you can adjust timer, flames and temperature manually until, hopefully, the manufacturer sends a replacement. FOR TEMPERATURE: Press the temp button, release. Press again while number is on display and hold until it blinks. While blinking, press to go up on the temp. To reach your desired temperature, you will have to keep pressing since theres no up and down button. It goes up to ON (stays on) and cycles back down to 62. If you miss your desired temperature, just continue pressing until it shows on the display.
