The headboard was the hardest to assemble alone for me. I think the instructions could be a little more clear. You need a half inch wrench, and a 5/32nd standard Allen wrench (I believe there is an all in one tool included, but it was kind of garbage). Its a great bed frame, Ive had it for almost an entire year. My biggest problem is that my mattress doesnt go all the way to the foot of the bed, which is annoying. Ensure you know the dimensions of your mattress prior to ordering this frame.
