Its working perfectly as a guest bed. We did add some queen-sized eggshell cushion to the top of it (very inexpensive at places like TJ Maxx or Walmart), so you dont feel the separation between the mattresses when its a queen. That really helped make it comfortable for my parents and others who have slept on it. Thus far no complaints and its held people of various sizes and shapes.
The only negative Ive found is that the mattress on the pop-up brushes against the bottom of the metal on the daybed frame. Im concerned that might cause damage over time as it slides back and forth. Weve considered putting bubble wrap or something over the metal so it wouldnt dig in as much.
