My wife was able to assemble it in less than a half hour. The instructions were clear and not difficult to make sense of. All hardware was included with extra pieces if needed. All pieces were labeled to make it easier to assemble.
It is made with sturdy MDF and it was without blemish. It is a simple desk, but the metal with the Black MDF fit perfectly in with our other industrial looking furniture in my wifes office. The side rails feel sturdy and it sits flat with the feet screwed in level. Her laptop along with her mouse pad fits perfectly on the main desk and the additional shelf on the top allows her to have her chargers or misc. desk accessories nearby. It has a under shelf too that is perfect to store books. Overall, for the price and comparative quality it is a great little study desk for our pre-teen.
