Took me longer to open up the boxes and get everything out of them than to put the bed together! To put it into perspective, I am 51 and around 120lbs (female) and was able to build this all by myself with ease! The last bed frame I had broke after two months so I was looking for one that wasnt all wood. This ones perfect! The parts have numbers and you have to connect each number (fun!) and a big plus is that this actually included a hex wrench that was easier to use than regular ones (it also included the regular one). I am so happy with my purchase and definitely recommend it
