Fits perfectly in the area near the front door. Really sturdy design and the cushion is adequate for setting bags, papers, or butts on. Putting it together was pretty hilarious, as one of the feet had a stripped screw and I had to force it into the bolt that was already attached to the bottom plate. MUST READ DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY. I saw the other reviews that mentioned this, so luckily I did. There are a lot of similar pieces and the construction isnt always intuitive. The backing isnt cardboard, but it is flimsy.
