I searched for a month, seeing dozens of overpriced trees before buying this one, Im glad I waited. It was an awesome value that includes a foot pedal switch, enabling you to switch between colored and clear lights. Additionally, there are several other choices when using the switch, like blink rates, color depth and shades, making this tree a true bargain (at approximately $137USD). The ends of the branches have a real-feel texture, breathing a soft, lifelike appearance into the tree. I wasnt sure about which size to buy, but decided to get the 4.5-foot tree, and it looked very nice atop a decorated platform. If I want a giant tree next year then I can go get a natural one and not feel badly, since I paid so little for this one that I can afford to switch back and forth every few years. One thing Id stress: keep the box until you are sure about how youre going to store it. The tree is bushy and its not easy to get it into an average-sized plastic storage container. Definitely recommend this product.
