Works great! I am very happy with my purchase of these two dining room chairs. I have a traditional formal dining room table, but I had 2 captains chairs at each end (with the wide arms). I was sick of them. I didnt mind the other chairs, but I wanted chairs with no arms at each end of the table. I took a chance on these. They look great. They are a light beige. The material is a linen look. They were fairly easy to assemble and look great//especially for the price.
