Good basket if it is all you can afford. If you can afford more, then steer clear!

I knew I would be getting a cheaply made basket at this price but it is just poorly made. The poles screw together and every single one of the undersized (maybe 3/8) rods are welded in crooked. I broke at least one of the welds just hand tightening it but it sounded like probably two and I just havent found the second yet. They only give you 4 out of the 5 necessary washers. My biggest complaint is that the threaded rods are so far from true that when fully tightened there is nearly an 1/8 gap on one side of the poles. The poles themselves are pretty thin but that is to be expected at this price. All of my frustration could have been saved and they could have had a far better product if they spent an hour or two making a jig to weld the rods in straight. The base is a tad undersized and the whole basket a bit top heavy so you will need to use it on fairly level ground even if you use their included stakes. All that said, it is still a decent basket for the money. The paint is well done and the double chains are great. It would be nice to see them use welded chain rather than split but that would increase the price for sure. This basket will definitely need to be taken inside when not in use or it will quickly succumb to rust. The basket and top price are by far the best part of this entire product. I plan to slowly replace the rest of the target with much heavier duty galvanized pipe as parts break on this guy. If this is all you can afford, jump on it! It is infinitely better than those fabric ones and should last a fair few seasons if properly cared for and not abused. If you can afford an extra 70 or so, there are MUCH better baskets out there that will easily last 5/10 years living permanently outside .
