Solid, and stable with no box spring needed, bedframe.

This is a well constructed bedframe. It will last a lifetime. Take your time when putting it together but dont over/tighten the headrail and footrail bolts, as youll need to put the mattress support rails in before you tighten all the bolts. It comes with extra bolts and connectors, just in case you damage or lose one during construction. Because it is an all bedframe, youll need to be extra careful that your toes dont hit any of the footrail or side support poles, after construction. I bought foam pipe tube insulation (most hardware stores carry this type of under/house pipe insulation) and placed sections of it on the footrail poles, and the center frame side supports, to help avoid stubbing my toes (youll need the 1 diameter foam tube). The bedframe doesnt give but your toes will. If youre not good with do/it/your/self projects, and get frustrated easily, this bedframe will test your patience and powers of observation. Look carefully at every diagram, on the instruction sheet, before you start construction. Youll need a helper to hold some parts up while you assemble and tighten the bolts (its steel, not aluminum). Make sure you use the correct, well/labeled, parts during each step. Carefully align all the parts with the support poles, before tightening with the provided Allen wrench. Patience will get you a well/consructed, long/lasting bedframe. Overall, Im very pleased with the style and look of the finished product. Love the color and it was very comfortable
