The day bed exceeded my expectations: its reasonably attractive and, once assembled, sturdy enough. Its wider than I imagined and is more than adequate as a bed for an adult. I bought a 10 inch high mattress but it could easily accommodate a 11 or 12 inch high mattress. Some have complaints about the bare heads of allen wrench type screws showing but I dont find these unattractive; they are flush with the wood and look more like a small decoration than a a screw head. All in all, well worth the price. Save some money and buy this.
