These were a breeze to put together! It took me 18 min flat to assemble 2, and that included me opening the packaging, taking pictures, cleaning up and taking everything out the trash or recycle bin. No tools required / Allen wrench included.
The box was smaller than I anticipated, and when I opened it, I saw that everything was very thoughtfully wrapped so it wouldnt get damaged, scratched or marred during shipping. The directions were attached to the top of the box with a red ribbon, and were easy to follow, although they had no descriptions, only pictures.
Step 1 / Attach seat to the upper column using the screws and provided Allen wrench.
Step 2 / Place the decorative coupler on the base ring.
Step 3 / Insert the hydraulic arm through the coupler and secure firmly into the base ring.
Step 4 / Remove plastic cover from the top of the hydraulic arm.
Step 5 / Place the seat assembly onto the base assembly.
Step 6 / Sit
These were just what I needed for the price point. We only use the bar about once a year, so I dont need to spend 50 or 100 a stool, and these sufficed just fine. One of the chairs squeaks when it turns, and the weight of them seems like they are lower on the quality scale, but Ill know for sure after my party in 2 weeks. If I dont update this review, then they held up just fine.
They weigh nothing, about 7 lbs a piece, so theyre easy to haul down to the basement bar.
They held my hubbys weight of 220lb just fine.
