TIPS: 1) Have some extra wood glue one hand for the wooden dowels. 2) Open the box and pull out ALL the pieces to be assembled. Inspect for damage BEFORE assembly so you can take the best course of action if there are any issues.
I really like the look of this piece. I was able to put it together myself ok. Its quite sturdy too. If I have any advice, its to maybe have a little extra wood glue on hand in case you run out of what they provide. Glue is added to the wooden dowels for extra strength. Dont skip this part.
We did not have any odor or door leveling issues. However, there was some shipping damage on one of the main pieces. Between and , the issue was made right, and I have a buffet in perfect condition. was actually super helpful in getting my issue resolved. Buying furniture online that has to be put togetheryou can expect some damage to happen. It was packed very well, but the box is pretty heavy (box said 140 lbs). Nice for the price.
