The instructions are just a bunch of diagrams with really small details. So hopefully youre a visual person. As for the bed itself, I wish the support slats were a tad sturdier. It felt okay with my weight (140lbs) on the top bunk after assembled, but if pressure is centralized into one area (I.e, child standing or jumping) the pieces of wood bow pretty easily. Going to keep an eye on that. Other than that the bed went together perfectly and it looks aming. Oh , be careful or youre going to end up with splinters. The wood is pretty rough on some of sections of unfinished wood. Stylish yet affordable
