This couch is not only aesthetically pleasing but the velvet is super soft. IMO the back height is nice because regardless of where the arm of the couch is there is always somewhere to rest your arms. This couch is firm and supportive / which I appreciate. If you are looking for memory foam type support/give this is not the couch for you. It is beautiful and functional.
