Absolutely not good for sleeping. Barely good for sitting. You cant sit in the middle because there is no cushioning in the middle. Just hard . When its unfolded there is a bar right down the middle length/wise. Impossibly to sleep on that. Also when unfolded, you cant sleep on the back rest side, due to again hard as a rock wood or in the middle width wise. So you can just barely get to sleep on the seat side if you can ignore the middle being hard as a rock. Also what little cushion is in the middle spreads apart even more after a couple weeks making it even more difficult to be comfortable. Its ridiculous to call this a futon. Dont recommend this product.
