Purchased this chair for my 84 year old mom who is 511. Not as comfortable to her as her other recliner without the lift. The lift started out raising her to a standing position which she loved. After a couple of weeks it stopped lifting to a standing position and stops before that. It still helps her to get up out of the chair but she now she mentions all the time how it use to raise her all the way up which she liked better. so you get what you pay for.
