We ordered bunk beds from 2 different companies through . This one we paid a little more for, but it is well worth the price. We were impressed with the quality and the appearance of the materials and parts. Putting the bed together will be much easier if you always take a good look at the part thats being called for and observe which side the drilled holes are on. If you dont pay attention to this detail you may end up installing pieces that will have to be undone later because the holes are on the wrong side. Other reviewers have mentioned that its important not to tighten the bolts too much and thats certainly the case. You need to have some flexibility. It can be helpful to use a powered screw/driver or drill at times, but thats when you need to be careful not to over/tighten until the unit is completed. The spacers used between the bars that will support a mattress can be a bit tricky to push into place. We found that using a rubber mallet with a small piece of wood to tap the spacers into place worked like a charm. A great looking finished product that we believe is a great value. You wont be dissatisfied
