The assembly went exactly as shown in the well written and illustrated instruction book. No problems whatsoever. Brakes and shifter were perfect. The frame appears that it was welded by an expert, beautiful job.
Im 81 years of age, and have not ridden a bike in over 19 years.(back when I was a teenager and through my 20s Ive ridden trail and road type motorcycles). My balance is not quite as good as when I was younger, but I found that I can handle this e/bike with no difficulty. I have a bit of a challenge mounting the bike as I had hip joint replacement this past June but, the more I do it, the easier it gets. The part time pedaling will help strengthen my weak leg muscles. Pedaling a stationary exercise bike would work for that but for me, that is extremely boring.
I cant comment of battery life as Ive only used it for half an hour. The head light is quite effective with 4 Cree LEDs and the tail light also flashes when you apply the brakes.
If you are considering an E/Bike, you will not be disappointed with this offering!
