I ordered this for my 6 year old son. We live in the rainy PNW, and I wanted another option for inside our home for him to get his energy out. We do have a smaller 3 foot one, but it is very small and he doesnt use it much. First, Im small female and pretty athletic. It was difficult at times for me, and I wasnt sure I wasnt going to be able to assemble it fully. The directions are basically just pictures, so they dont walk you through much. However, its pretty self explanatory. If something doesnt work, just trying a few things will and it wasnt too complicated. The metal bars are incredibly greasy, so I wouldnt advise setting up in the house like I did. My hands were completely covered in gray grease. Thank God my carpets are gray. Once you get the metal parts assembled (which sort of come apart constantly before you connect the springs), then you place the trampoline jumping area on top. Dont connect the ties yet as that comes later. Then just start connecting the springs starting at an area that has a post connecting to the floor (a spring on each side). Once I got near the end, I didnt know if I had the strength to literally connect the spring to the opposite side. They do have a t shape tool you use to pull the hard ones. I had to prop the thing up against the wall, put my feet up, hold my core in, and almost rip my arms off pulling the last few. lol. I literally said a prayer to my handyman dad in heaven to help me. It totally worked and I was able to finish! I dont have people around me to help being a single mom. Just know you may need some muscle. Then after that part is done you can tie the straps to the bottom posts. I did not attach any of the posts and mesh screen on top which would be a whole other job since my son doesnt need them. He can now jump on and off of it and actually onto his 3 foot trampoline back and forth. I had the exact amount of springs needed to assemble it, but I would have liked if they sent a few extra in case one broke or was missing. I will save the other pieces in case I have another child later or will have young children around where I will need to attach the safety part on top. My son just loves this! Once its setup, it seems very durable, and I think it will last a very long time. Im really grateful to have found this as all the jumping helps my son get his nervous energy out. (He is high needs needs and works with a therapist each week for hyperactivity and the behaviors that come with it). This really helps him. Its pretty big for the inside of the home, but I just put in the middle of my living room safe from things he could run into when he jumps off. If you dont want to spend a fortune for a giant outside one, this is big enough to be exciting for a better price. I actually enjoy jumping on it myself. I do recommend!!
Photo has part of a 3 foot trampoline next to it to see size difference. very reasonably priced as well.
