Do not buy this bed. The fumes it gives off or horrible and long-lasting
I was incredibly disappointed and disgusted by the amount of fumes this bed gave off. As expected, there were fumes when first opening the box and putting the bed together, which is why we let it air out for several days prior to allowing our children to sleep on it. I attempted to wipe down the bed in case it was something put on after the fact, but the smells/fumes did not subside. As our children begged us to sleep in their new bunk beds we gave in with windows open and air purifier running. After two nights our children developed coughs at night. After removing the beds their coughs went away. The bed was sturdy and otherwise exactly what I was hoping for.
