This is a super sturdy coffee table, once you get it put together. You have to ad lib a little bit on the assembly. Nothing major. Takes two people to attach the hinged top. So that had to wait a day. Other than that, I cant believe how sturdy this coffee table is, just the right size also for my smaller sized living room. Would recommend and would buy again now that Im confident in assembly. The top lifts towards you so you cant reach what is in storage without having to get up and walk to the opposite side of the coffee table. Great purchase for the price.
