They are super sturdy and heavy weight. Get the hammer-in felt pieces for the bottom. They slide easily with them. The style is unique as I looked thru zillions of stools. The leather seats are comfy and the stool wipes clean easily. I have three kids and were all over them daily at my island. I put them together myself as a woman. Lol. The instructions arent exactly accurate with the nuts. The foot stool if you get the two opposite screws partially in, you can maneuver it to get the other two in. Then tighten. Use a drill if you have to put the back on. Lay the bottom horizontal to get all the screws partially in then tighten. I got 4. And so far LOVE them.
