It was very easy to assemble. Most of the screws are already where they need to be, you just have slightly unscrew them to put the sections together. Storage is basic. You can slide something about the size of a shoebox underneath but anything taller than that probably wont fit. The wooden slats use Velcro to stick to the frame. The bed does make some noise when I sit on the corner, most likely from the slats lifting up from the Velcro but that could be from the type of mattress Im using. Regardless, it doesnt make any noise when I lie down to sleep. Definitely a good choice.
