I bought this based on the reviews and it was a beautiful. It takes a while to assemble but it is doable by yourself and as a woman. As someone who just moved into her first apartment, it was my first time assembling furniture and let me tell you, if I can do it, so can you. It is unique and I havent seen this headboard design anywhere else (yet.)
The base does not need a box/spring at all, so if you have a memory foam mattress, its perfect. anything with a box spring may make the bed sit wayyyyy too high. The box it comes in is very heavy, but like another reviewer said, you can open it up and take the pieces to your bedroom one by one. The headboard itself is not heavy, just wide.
