It was very heavy so we had to open the box downstairs and carry the pieces separately. But the biggest piece was still so heavy so we had to push it up the stairs causing it to get scratched. There was a little hole in the back of the frame but it cant be seen from the front so that is fine. Assembly was not difficult but it included a lot of pieces, which makes me wonder how much of a hassle it will be to unassemble and assemble again when moving.
