I originally ordered a much more expensive pad, then was notified it was seriously delayed for shipping. This arrived promtly and surpassed the much more expensive pad. Thick, soft foam like a good quality firm, memory foam bed mattress / and a cover that is comfortable but water just beads up on it and never seems to penetrate you just sweep it off.
