I researched for a L/shaped desk for about 2 months before deciding on this one for my new apartment. The coloring and sturdiness is exactly what I needed for my small college apartment so if youre worried its too big, it isnt. It made my very small room actually more spacious as opposed to the desk provided by the apartment. The finish is very smooth and no fear of splinters or anything of the sort.
My main issue is that the instructions were very poor. Everything is indeed labeled but I feel like it wasnt specific enough so I had to make small alterations/adjustments/rotations to nearly every single white piece in order to have everything fit together. I got so frustrated I had to stop and continue the next day because I felt like the instructions werent specific enough for the direction the pieces need to go in. Once I did it correctly, I couldnt connect one side of the wooden top to the base right underneath. Either the holes dont line up correctly by mere millimeters so I cant put in the final 2 screws or I literally have utterly built it wrong and its still standing. Ive had it for about 2 weeks now and without the final two screws, its still up and doesnt move at all really. Its as if it has the two screws on, but wanted to include it in/case anyone else experiences this. I also built this by myself so it is indeed possible to do, just have patience.
Other than that I utterly love this desk and glad I was eventually able to put it together.
Worst instructions Ive ever read but worth it
