I love the desk shape and the faux marble top, but the color is terrible. I ended up spray painting it the antique gold I thought it was. This worked out for the best anyway, as the screws do show and are bright silver, so I chose to put the desk together except for the tops. Then spray painted it in 5 light layers so it covered nicely without any runs. It worked out well and now matches the book shelf unit well.
I will give 5 stars for the instructions and manufacturer. I was sent 2 copies of instructions and emailed a .pdf. I find the desk to be plenty sturdy for my needs and comfortable to work at.
