Absolutely love this desk. I assembled it by myself and it took about 2 hours, only because I kept stopping and doing other things. Working with the pieces separately, they are not very heavy at all.

I wasnt sure at first because the desk seemed so wobbly, it was sort of hard to get it to stay in place given that the screws seem a bit short for the connections at first due to the fact that you cant tighten everything right away. So I did have slight issue with a couple of the pieces working their way a part before I could get to the final tightening steps. Just be sure to have the bars in the exact position they say or you will be in a world of hurt in the last steps. Hold where they say hold, push where they say push, tighten where they say tighten and youll be fine.
Overall, I love the desk. I bought the white marble version. The desk top is matte, not shiny, so if you are looking for shiny marble, this is not for you. Also, the gold is not really gold, more of a mustard type color which is perfect since the chair I bought to go with it is actually mustard as well.
