Good for price; read and follow instructions carefully when assembling
Good desk for the price. Exactly the right size for my needs.
The desk top pieces dont fit together perfectly, and the pre/drilled holes dont line up completely. But for the price I paid these are very minor flaws (nothing structural, just cosmetic) that I would happily accept.
Desk arrived well packaged. Postal service damaged box slight, but the packaging protected the content just fine. No damage to the item.
Assembly instruction is very clear and easy to follow. But implementing the instructions is not trivial. While it is possible to assemble desk with one person, the first two or three steps are very difficult if you dont have a second pair of hands.
(In spite of what the instructions say, though, you do need a pair of pliers and a Phillips screwdriver for the final step; the screw for the X shaped support bar is not one you can turn using the included hex key.)
Note: do follow instructions from company and do not overtighten the screws. When assembling, if you go slowly you can see the tubings starting to deform if you tighten screws too much. Stop, and dont turn more.
Also, it is worth repeating some other reviewers that one should be careful with the screws to attach desktop to frame. Overtightening those screws will also result in unsightly bulges showing on the desktop. For those: go slow and have another person look at it while you screw. There is a fine line between just right and too tight.
