I was using a very small desk for my computer before buying this. Now that we are working from home, I wanted to upgrade to something larger. I thought having a L shaped desk would give me plenty more room to work with. Well, yes and no. The desk does give me more surface space than my older desk. In the pictures I posted, you can actually see my old desk on the right. More on that later.
When putting this together, I started to worry would I have enough space for my monitor, keyboard and mouse. I am happy to report that all three fit without issue. I dont feel nearly as cramped as on my old desk. I have a 23 inch monitor and I definitely would not be able to fit a second one on one side of the desk. That is where my old desk comes in.
At first, I was going to get rid of it. But I am glad I did not. This desk was not nearly as long as I had hoped for. However, my old desk was the perfect height. I put that to the right of it and now I have a full workstation. I do like the build of this new desk though. For the most part, it was easy to put together. I will say that one hole in the middle section did not line up with the screw. But everything else did, so I feel confident knowing that single hole is missing a screw. The desk is study so far and I love having my printer to the right of me.
Being 5 11, leg room is important to me. I have a shredder and filing cabinet to the left of me under the desk and I have not even come close to hitting them. I have plenty of legroom and then some. Overall, I am super happy with this desk. A few issues like the length of the desk and the hole that didnt line up correctly keep me from rating it five stars. If you already have a small desk in your room, I would advise keeping it and combining it to give you more surface space. But for the price, I cant complain too much.
Almost Perfect
