The desk was great / exactly what we needed for my sons room. Once the assemble was complete its very sturdy, wouldnt considered standing on top but to support most typical desk item its more than sufficient. Its much sturdier than I expect. The only real draw back is the assembly instructions. While they are well written and easy to follow as far as what is written the problem is that they do not aquatically describe the orientation of the frame pieces and the pictures are so small that you can not see this either. So that was the reason of the /1 star overall. It wasnt a major problem to redo what need to be done just took some extra time to try and figure out the correct alignment. Other than that its a great desk
