My 14 year old son had a loft bed that was falling apart. He wanted one lower to the ground with storage drawers because his room is small. This bed fit the criteria and it was affordable. To top it off, he was able to assemble the bed on his own in a couple hours and was sleeping in it the same day it arrived. Seems sturdy enough and it looks nice in his room. It does seem to sit low, but that is probably because it doesnt have/need a box spring.
