This bench is exactly as described. I bought the grey color, and use it to store shoes at the end of my bed. It is attractive, holds all my shoes (including boots) and is comfortable to sit on as well. It is lighter in weight than I expected which was nice for moving it in. But if I had to come up with a con about this purchase, it would be that I wish it had just slightly more weight to it, a bit more substantial. But that is minor. I recommend this purchase.
