    Measurements listed are wrong

If you select the rustic brown, there is a graphic that gives the distances between the different pre-drilled holes for the shelving part. This is important for anyone that wants to use the lower shelf as a place to put their computer tower. As I said, the measurements are wrong on that graphic, so I had to return the desk. The desk was packed well, though the cardboard is rather flimsy. The wood pieces looked nice from what I saw. Anyway, this is what I measured. I measured the distance of the bottom to the top of the cross bar on the shelving ends, because this is where your stuff is going to go. Measuring between screw holes didn't make sense to me. - Topmost square of the shelf - 5 1/8 - From lowest crossbar to the lower shelf option. i.e. for the shelf you choose the height of, this is the clearance from top to bottom - 14 3/8 - The distance from shelf option 1 to shelf option 2 (the two crossbars that are closest to each other) - 3.5 - Max height for the lowest shelf, if you choose the highest option was 18 11/16' when I measured. That would be the max clearance for a computer tower, 18 11/16. However, I wouldn't recommend wedging something in that is a tight fit because your air flow could be compromised depending on where your intakes and exhausts are for your system.
