I didn't have special expectations for this desk, only that it would be long enough and wide enough to actually hold a computer unlike the stupid Ikea one I'd been dealing with for the past 3 years. It's just barely long enough to fit my 49 hyper-wide monitor. The quality is good enough, I don't know why anyone would complain about that unless they really wanted a 500lb slab of tree trunk to work on. It doesn't wobble much, if at all. It was fairly easy to assemble and took maybe 45 minutes. My big complaint is that I ordered the all black version. I believe the black and wood toned models are supposed to be the same since one side is black and one side is wood. I got the desk most of the way assembled by the time I realized they sent me the wood version. I could have drilled holes in the wood side and made it work, but then I'd have a bunch of unsightly holes in the desk surface. At that point what was I gonna do, take it apart and somehow package it up and send it back again? Yeah, no. Luckily I have bought the shorter version to go next to it with a wood section on the end, so the black and wood kind of managed to not look out of place. I would be happier if I got what I ordered, though. Frustrating.
Nice Desk, If You Get the Right One...
