I was a little disappointed that the bottom of the drawers are not words but plastic. However, my husband said with the metal framing they seemed pretty sturdy and he really felt like the bed was a good purchase. The drawers are very big and roomy. Also the drawers dont actually slide on a track, they roll under the bed with wheels and then you canand latch them to the bed.
