Now this console table is just about perfect as far as matching the details of its description and the photos of it on 's website. It's painted gold, and that's nicely obvious as these days buyers do not always get that which is obviously what they selected and paid the man for. (Only two days ago a mayor mess-up just floored me as I opened the shipping carton, a task that got me luckily already kneeling on the floor, and the table I believed would be perfect was anything but perfect; and sad to say the seller, a major retail home-stuff website, and in fact none of its sister sites, and It was probably from one of these that the actual purchase was made, has yet to respond to my very-nice-but-somewhat-irate-email). So when I buy something online and get exactly what I paid for and what I had expected, and in a very timely manner, well for me that's the very definition of VALUE FOR MONEY in this new era of decorating our homes by delivery! Thanks . Oh, the table wasn't the easiest to put together but I'm pleased to admit that taking it on alone I did have it constructed and in place nicely behind my couch and all in a bit over an hour.
