Really good design and a very sturdy bed. Especially for a platform-style bed, this one has a good base, even for a foam mattress. No plywood needed! Assembly was not 30 minutes as the instructions suggest, but rather 1.5 hours from the time it was unpacked to finish. Assembly tip: when its time to attach the legs, turn the bed to stand upright on the headboard, and put the under-legs on the frame standing up (rather than bending over with the bed in normal position).
