I live in a one bedroom condo with an awkward layout. The patio door, fireplace and front door take up a chunk of the room. The bar and dining area on the other side. Only one space for the couch. I can can turn it to face the couch when friends are over. I can turn it to face the television while doing needle point (for hours. Its that comfortable). I can turn it a bit more and put my feet in front of the fireplace (dont worry, its in a safe space). This chair is a lovely touch to any room and a real plus for small or awkward spaces. The box fit in the back of my Honda Fit (ok, everything fits in a Fit) and it was very easy to put together.
