This bed is better quality than expected and its beautiful. I casually put the bed and trundle together myself while watching tv and it took just under 2 hours. With 2 people, you could easily cut that time in half. I think one reviewer said it took 45 mins. The color is more of an antique white than stark white. The nuts and bolts come nicely organized with spare pieces. The directions are easy to follow. Make sure you read them and dont just look at the photos because some places get specific about not tightening the bolts.
I was overwhelmed when I saw the bed disassembled with all of the parts but its not bad at all.
This bed is in my 5 year olds room and I find her sitting on it, talking to herself about how much she likes it.
