I went back and forth on a couple frames on before settling on this one. I am happy with my decision after using the king size frame for a couple weeks.
Lets start with the good things:
PROS:
/ Upholstery is well done, nice and tight and neat
/ The sturdiness of the frame is good. There are four corner posts and two supporting beams in the center with three legs each. (at least on my king size)
/ Size.the frame is the perfect size for my 76x80 mattress, there is no gap to speak of on any side
CONS:
/ The assembly instructions. The person who created these instructions obviously didnt speak English as a first language. At one point there is a discrepancy about which bolts to use because of a translation issue. There also is a comment about not tightening all the bolts, but there is no additional comment to tighten the bolts at the end of the assembly process. I also dont know how a person would survive if you tighten all the bolts by hand, I found a hex bit for my drill that was the right size and used that. Be careful not to over/tighten if you use a drill!
/ I had a minor tear in the black covering on the inside of one of the main support beams. It is in a spot that will never be seen, so I am not going to bother with a replacement.
Overall, this bed is not an heirloom that you will pass on to your children some day, but it is an item that you should expect to have for at least 10/20 years and enjoy using.
Good quality. Will last many years.
