My one and only gripe about this product is that the box is much heavier than listed in the product description. The seller lists this item at 30 lb, its actually closer to 80 lb per labeling on the box itself. So if you have a problem lifting weights or live alone, get a friend to help or really sturdy dolly. A dolly and a friend was the only way I was able to get this product out of my car and into my house.
The main thing that I was really surprised about was how well packaged this product was. Almost every single piece was individually wrapped in its own plastic bags and there were slices of styrofoam all around. You see and read horror stories on all the time about people getting products that comes with little to no pac material. That was not the case with this product.
You do need to be careful to make sure not to scratch the parts of the bed against other parts of the bed, especially with the ends of the pipes. The powder coating on the parts is not impervious to scratching from itself.
Other than that, this bed was very easy to put together. The instructions are very clear. And the bed is very sturdy. So far no squea.
