I saw a mix if reviews of people liking and disliking the couch. Overall it was easy to assemble. It could be built without directions. The comfort is okay, but it would be nice if it was softer and had a higher back piece to support your back while sitting. Despite those flaws it's a pretty solid couch and comfortable to relax on. We have a husky that on occasion gets the zoomies and even jumped or landed on the couch roughly and it's still in one piece so that's a plus.
