We just finished a kitchen remodel and needed 4 stools for seating at the island counter that we will be using for informal meals. Since wed put most of our available cash into the remodeling, I was looking for an inexpensive seating option that would be comfortable and look nice in the space. These stools fit all my requirement; I wanted a swivel stool that was height adjustable and had a back so they would be more comfortable to sit in than a backless stool.
These stools checked all the boxes, and in addition I liked the diamond design which echoes the tile pattern in my kitchen backsplash. The grey color harmonizes with the countertops with out being too matchy/matchy, and the price was super affordable. I did check some local furniture stores and found they didnt have what I wanted and what they did have cost as much as I paid for all 4 of these stools.
Assembly was super easy, though one of the stools was missing the plastic bag with the screws, base cap and allen wrench. We probably had the screws in our stash of fasteners, but decided to contact the seller because we also needed the base cap. The seller promptly replied and sent the package priority mail so we now have all four stools assembled and in place.
So maybe they wont last 20 years, but Im perfectly okay with that; my tastes change from time to time and probably in future Ill want something different any way. If you are looking for an economical set of counter stools that will fit in a transitional/contemporary space, these would be a good option for you.
