This file cabinet exceeded my expectations / its exceptionally well made, with screw/in casters and a roller in the bottom front to prevent tipping. The bottom of the file drawer is sturdy and the all of the drawers open and close very smoothly. Aesthetically, its a nice design and in a muted shade Id call a soft eggshell , a nice departure from the standard stark .
Putting it together was straightforward and just a matter of inserting the drawers, screwing on the casters and anti/tip roller, and connecting the side rails on the file drawer (I recommend reading the instructions on inserting the rails, as theyre a tight fit and need to go in at an angle).
The packaging of the file cabinet was like nothing Ive ever seen; it was encased in hard molded styrofoam and hard plastic protected all four corners. Short of being thrown over a cliff, this is one product thats guaranteed not to get damaged in transit!
I cant say this about too many products these days, but this file cabinet is a great value for the money. Awesome job!
