Guess I was one of the few who was lucky and didnt receive any damaged or missing pieces. Shipping was sooner than expected, thats good. Easy to assemble. Took about 2 hours. Definitely need 2 people. Its a cute bed and my son is happy. Now, issues: 1. The smell everyone is talking about is pretty strong. I got a headache after building it, but airing it out helps (shouldve done it before I built it like another reviewer suggested). 2. The bed is super creaky! Idk if my son will be able to get any sleep with all that noise. 3. We had issues with step 11. There were no holes to screw parts J to the bed lol. We made it work though, so its fine. 4. The chalkboard is disappointing.
Overall: We purchased this bed because we liked the style. It meets our wants/needs (wish it was a little higher). Most issues can be fixed, I think. We are content.
