I loved this bed so much in full size that I bought another in queen size. Super easy to put together alone. Find it completely sturdy. No squeaking. I added felt to the bottom so it wouldnt scratch the floor. I dont find that my mattress slides off too much or frequently. Every now I and then I have to push the mattress back but that doesnt annoy me. There is a lot of storage space underneath which was one of my main reasons for buying them. They fit those Kallax boxes perfectly.
